The Intra-Con IV containers come in sizes of 100, 250, 500, 1000 and 3000 ml. Due to the design, filling and autoclaving are done efficiently and economically. The containers are self-collapsable and have a constant drip speed without the need of venting.
Additives are added to IntraCon by breaking and removing a tamperproof plastic lid. As the lid cannot be put on again, it is very easy – and unquestionable – to establish whether additives have been added. All container sizes have an additive port (13 mm neck). The rubber disc is latex-free
Intra-Con is filled in a special-developed filling machine. It is small in size, yet large in capacity and high in flexibility. The machine is one-man operated, filling up to 900-1000 containers per hour.
The Single-Neck container is meant for liquids to which you are not allowed to add any additives during infusion, for instance antibiotics. Today a 100 ml and a 3000 ml container are available.
IntraCon can be autoclaved at 121°C. The containers can be suspended in close contact with each other, thus optimizing the autoclave capacity.
